Prof. Gopal Krishna Mahadev is a surgeon-turned-strategist dedicated to making ​healthcare and education affordable, accessible and future-proof worldwide.

Clinical background: 23 years in the NHS (1996 – 2019)

Entrepreneur & Deal-Maker: Leads a UK health-tech group holding £34 billion in active government contracts (partners include Microsoft). 

Prof. Mahadev designed the world’s first healthcare apprenticeship, now a UK flagship scheme funding £15 billion p.a. and supporting 6.5 million learners.

EDUCATION PIONEER

 Founded the first Healthcare Academy for secondary-school girls (Flixton, Manchester, 2014)
 Co-created two UK medical schools — Kent & Medway (2020) and University of Bolton (2025)
 Third medical school launching Jacksonville, Florida 2026
 Developing five new medical-school-with-hospital campuses in India (World Bank-backed) and multiple university-hospital  projects in the Middle East & USA
